the art of Everardo Roche

Everardo Roche is a French Abstract artist, from the Loire Valley. Driven to create minimalist abstract pieces, his inspiration comes from Rothko, the paper cutout of Henri Matisse, Theo van Doesburg, The Bauhaus Movement, and closer to home: 1930's Abstraction in Paris. His pieces rarely take shape or form, but focus on utilizing a rich knowledge of colour & composition, and like Rothko believes that a good piece of art should start with colour. His exploration of color quest has taken him to digital art, so for the last 7 years, he has built up an entirely new collection of art, that is digitally edited or produced. If you are looking to add colour and depth to your room and make a bold statement, it is probably worth checking our his work.

Andre Dentio is a self confessed conveyor of all things iconic. A music and film junkie, the iconic faces and places that he concentrates on are re-drawing and reproducing all are in some way connected to him on a personal level. Inspired by WArhol, Jamie Hewlett, Peter Saville, Viz comics and hand screen printing, his work is bold, vibrant and makes a strong statement. The clean edges and often the deliberate off-setting that can be found in his work are all very typical of the silk screen printing from the 60's and 70's.

Nancy has a nack for producing, bold powerful art & a keen eye for solid compositions. Her history lies in textile design, her heart lies in abstract art, although her work normally has to represent some sort of form. In that respect she is not a traditional minimalist artist like Rothko. You will normally fine earthy colours, from rich browns and gold's to vogue greys with subtle contemporary accent colours, like cerise pinks, mint greens, tangerine oranges. contemporary greys. She is an old skool traditionalist at heart, so most of her work features brush strokes, a subtle amount of texture or grain. Inspiration comes from traveling, particularity the East, so expect to find a healthy amount of Buddhist influence, crossed with Japanese textiles, cherry blossom tattoos and dusky, polluted city sunrises.

Hendrik is an East Midlands based digital artist, specialising and excelling in vector artwork & illustrations. He tries to distances himself from the modern age & keep's his feet (in his '94 Air Max's) firmly in the past. Inspired in part by the whole of the 1960's, [the fashion, the interiors, the Psychedelia, the whole movement] Also, New Wave & pinup erotica in the late 1970's, the bad haircuts & crap movies in the 1980's, the Sega Mega Drive in the 90's. And the decade you may ask? Well not a lot, except the Apple M.ac has set him up well...! A clear Nostalgic junkie, you will find some rare gems of the past in his work. Iconic 60's and 70's wallpaper sections, Psychedelic pop icons, Comic Inspired pieces, Germanesque Abstract, classic 70's / 80's cars, the list is endless.

Irieman is an office worker by day, street artist by night & freelance artist for the rest of the time. After visiting Berlin in the late 90's, he was blown away by the freedom of speech that came from the graffiti and new wave street / stencil art that was emerging at the time taken by the anarchistic expressionism that worked it's way poetically across the city, he began taking photos and experience with initially recreating them and then working them into new pieces. Big inspiration has come from C215, Dolk, D*Face, vhils aka alexandre farto. His style is street art, but with a contemporary twist. His work borrows from the iconic Pin-up & Burlesque movement, 1970's pornography, political movements.

Frazier Boyd is an artist with a defining style. He is an inquisitive character, obsessed with Surfaces & textures, He tries to work in harmony with the environment, often disguising his art masterfully, as a chameleon would hide on a beautiful textured, coloured rock. His art is iconic, playful, sometimes serious, rarely political, but when it is it is done well. Animals & nature seem to play a big part in his work, as do iconic periods in history. All in all though, he is a real hard working artist, a grafter you might say. He is playful with his art & takes it art seriously at the same time. The fact that he is always experimenting with pushing what he hasn't seen before, and doing it to a high standard, in my eyes makes him an important & influential artist, that crosses boundaries & takes the whole street art thing to another level.
