General Technical Help.

I get a message about Cookies.
The Website is very slow or will not connect.
My Credit Card was not accepted.
I am getting Parental software issues.
My Shopping Basket is empty.
My Account has not been recognised.
I am still having issues.

I get a message about Cookies. Some browsers can be set to refuse cookies, or you may have manually set this up. Our site required Cookies to be enabled. They will in no way harm your computer, it is a technical requiremtn of most e-commerse web-sites, so you may wish to check your system to see whether you are running any cookie management programs. You can find a comprehensive list of FAQ's about cookies if you need to be furnished with any more information.

The website is very slow or won't connect. Try refreshing the page. If the site is taking a long time, or if a webpage loads halfway, or even if it loads for a long, long time, often simply clicking the "Stop" button at the top of your browser and then clicking "Reload" or "Refresh" solves the issue.

Try another website. If other sites run fine and ours is running slow, then there must be an issue with our own server. An email with a heads up to inform us of this would be much appreicated.

If all websites are running slow for you, then there looks like there is a problem at your end. Try running a speed test, we recommend Speedtest.net. These days you should be getting 1-10MB download speed, minumum. If you are not, try restarting your modem and router if you have one by pulling the power lead out for at least 10secs. When you plug them back in you should have the internet back up within 1-2 mins. Then try running a speedtest again. Most likely you will find that a simple restart of the modem / router will solve all your problems. If there is still an issue, you will want to contact your internet service provider.

Another option is to try clearing your history. Most website browsers temporarily store a local copy of every webpage you visit on the website. Clearing your cache deletes all of those files and makes room for new ones. Go to the "Cache" or "Temporary Internet Files" & "Cookies" option on your website browser and delete the files stored in your cache.

If you still encounter difficulty, you may need to upgrade your browser or contact your Internet Service Provider for further assistance. We recommend Google Chrome for fast, secure browsing.

My Credit Card was not accepted. It is always worth checking the following points:

  • Did you select the correct card type?
  • Did you input the credit or debit card number correctly?
  • Did you select a valid expiration date?
  • Did you enter your name exactly as it appears on the payment card?

Sometimes, deleting the existing information and re-inputting your payment card information as a new card can do the trick.

One other importanat factor: The registered card address & delivery address need to match for secutirty reasons.

I am getting parental control issues. Please be advised that if you are using any type of parental control software, or if your Internet Service Provider (ISP) has controls active on your account, please make sure that these functions are disabled, or some of our site / art may be excluded.

My Shopping Basket is empty. Please note that the Shopping Basket is a temporary place to store a art. Our inventory is constantly eveloving, so items that have been in your Shopping Basket for a long period of time might no longer be available or my have changed. To avoid this, your Shopping Basket will expire 90 days after the last time you add or modify an item.

Try refreshing your browser. If this does not help, It is recommended that you clear your page history on a regular basis. While a healthy history can speed up your Web surfing, you might start to experience slow speeds when the history begins to fill up.  You may also want to consider upgrading to a newer version of your browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Chrome). You should visit the homepage of your browser website to check if any updates are available. You can find instructions on how to do this in most cases by clicking Help at the top of your browser page.

My Account has not been recognised. If you experience issues while logging into your account or during checkout, You may be able to temporarily resolve the problem by disabling Javascript in Internet Explorer by following these instructions: 
1) Choose Tools/Internet Options from the IE menu.
2) Click on the Security tab and select "Internet" in the Web content box. 
3) Then click on "Custom level" to show the Security Settings
4) Go to "Scripting" toward the bottom of the list and set the "Active Scripting" choice to "Disabled"
