How long will it take for my canvas to arrive ?
Please allow 5-7 working days for your canvas to be produced & 2-3 days for delivery.
If you are not in, the courier will leave a card. If you receive a card please contact the courier to arrange an alternative time. Deliveries can arrive at anytime between 9am - 5.30pm, so if you are not in during the day it may be easier to arrange the delivery to be made to your work address.
Can i provide you with an image to print?
Yes of course. Please visit the custom pages where you can
easily upload your digital image to us.
What if my image is not a digital file?
Please scan at 300 dpi minimum, and save in JPEG / tiff format.
or send the image to: Photo2Canvas, WHoArtNow, 169 London Road, Leicester, LE2 1EG (ideally packaging the photo between two pieces of card, or in a hard-backed envelope.
Please note, we cannot accept images that are less than 512k (1/2 MB) or are under 4 megapixels, as the quality will not be sufficient to achieve a good enlarged image on canvas.
Will the colours I see on screen be the same as the finished canvas? (Monitor settings tutorial)
We cannot guarantee the colours will be identical. as individual monitor settings can vary. We do provide sample swatches upon request. If there is a particular colour match you need please contact us for more info (you will need either a pantone or a colour swatch to post to us). For a quick check, try printing the image - this will show a more accurate representation of it's true colour. (although, if your printer is calibrated incorrectly, the image colour will not be true either)
We recommend that you do not set your monitor with the brightness and contrast too high, as this will alter your perception of the image. Quite often, a new flat screen monitor will be set up like this, (with both brightness and contrast turned up to 100%) when it is taken out of the box and will require a bit of tweaking. If you think the contrast is too high, (if the colours on the screen are very vibrant) try experimenting & turning it down. Likewise, if you do not get very good definition of grays and cannot see light grays, try turning the brightness down. For a quick guide, please click here to get help on setting up your monitor by altering the brightness. If you are in an environment that does not permit this (e.g. in a workplace) you could try & view the image on a different monitor. For more precise results and for more advanced users, if you would like to calibrate your monitor for Windows XP, we recommend the new Microsoft Color Control Panel which is a free download from Microsoft. If you are on a Mac, you can calibrate your monitor in System Preferences > Displays > Color > Calibrate.
Will my canvas be the same the image I see online?
Images may vary slightly, depending on the size you have ordered due to scale and proportion.
How do I care for my canvas?
To maintain & increase the life span of your canvas do not expose continuous, strong sunlight or moisture. Do not clean with a wet/damp cloth; using a soft sponge or duster, lightly on the surface will get rid of any dust that has settled. See some of our tips & tricks on caring for your canvas.
Do you supply to trade?
Yes, please click Visit the trade pages.
How does the shopping cart work?
Similar to a shopping trolley at a supermarket, you can put things in your cart (by clicking on the 'add to cart button) without having to buy them. Think of it as a way of remembering things that you are interested in. You are not committed to buy until you take your selected canvas(es) through to the checkout. However, you cannot purchase an item until it has been added to your cart, so remember to check the contents of your cart carefully before you check out.
You can check the contents of your cart at any time by clicking on the "view cart" button at the top right of any page. If you want to remove something, simply click on the remove radio button next to each item & then the "update basket" button.
When you have finished shopping click on the 'view cart’, then click on proceed to checkout .
