Hamano Masato, or Julie Owens is a fashion & textiles artist from Nottingham. She studied Textiles at Nottingham University before settling down near the lace market & she has been living her artistic dream ever since. Her art is inspired heavily from Japanese textiles, cherry blossom and tattoo culture, and early Japanese art which was heavily connected to Buddhism. You will see elements of japanese textiles that she has produced originally by silk screen printing. Hand painted pieces, some vector based minimal designs, even some 70's inspired retrograde textiles.
