Andre Dentio is a self confessed conveyor of all things iconic. A music and film junkie, the iconic faces and places that he concentrates on are re-drawing and reproducing all are in some way connected to him on a personal level. Inspired by WArhol, Jamie Hewlett, Peter Saville, Viz comics and hand screen printing, his work is bold, vibrant and makes a strong statement. The clean edges and often the deliberate off-setting that can be found in his work are all very typical of the silk screen printing from the 60's and 70's.
