WHoArtNow prides itself on using the highest quality materials we can find while still remaining affordable. We currently print all our canvas prints at the highest resolution [1440dpi] our printers will let us. We print onto the 380gsm matt coated cotton canvas unlike some of our cheaper competitors who use the inferior 100% man made polyester canvas.
Our HP wide format printers use pigment based UV inks (Ultra Violet) for superior colours and extra life from your canvas print. These inks are more durable than the normal dye based inks. Although costing a little more to buy, these far superior inks, matched with our 100% waterproof cotton canvas means we can say that your print shouldn't fade from either indoor lights, or direct sunlight!
All our canvas prints are made in house and are hand wrapped around the best possible stretcher bars we can find. Our wood frames are made from kiln dried fir wood and are planned to make them as straight as possible. They're a chunky frame measuring 1.5" (38mm) and the image on your print is designed to wrap around the frame yet not lose any of them image.
Carrying on the highest quality materials, our framed prints only use the best paper. We use 240gsm acid free museum archive paper called Hahnemuhle (Han-a-maloo-laa). This really is the best paper you can buy. We mount all our framed prints behind 100% glass to stop fading of your print.
Our exclusive Metal Art range are hand produced right here in the UK on 2mm Stainless Steel to help prevent rusting. Included with your metal art order will be a four pack of satin silver 20mm stand off bolts. The holes for the stand off bolts are already drilled and they are easy to fit. This results in your new piece of Metal Art will be 20mm off the wall. This also means you can mount a small strip light behind the Metal for something truly unique.
Finally we come to our Vinyl Art. These unique hand made pieces of art are hand spray painted on real 12" vinyl records. After creating the wooden back piece and the required 12 Vinyl, we build up layers of spray paint to create a truly unique and exclusive piece of art. Others have copied our idea, WHoArtNow were the first! Please note, no quality music was harmed in the making of these products..!!!
Every now and then, we come across a product which might be better quality and we will test it to see if we can improve the quality of our artwork. We always aim to use the highest quality materials and you won't find a company using better anywhere in the world!
Frazier Boyd, or simply "BOYD", as he is known on the streets, is an artist with a defining style. Consumed with his obsessing with surfaces textures, he spends a lot of his spare time looking for them & manipulating them into a piece of art. He tries to work in harmony with the environment, often disguising his art masterfully, as a chameleon would hide on a beautiful textured, coloured rock. His art is iconic, playful, sometimes serious, rarely political, but when it is it is done well. Animals & nature seem to play a big part in his work, as do iconic periods in history. All in all though, he is a real hard working artist, a grafter you might say. He is playful with his art & takes it art seriously at the same time. The fact that he is consistantly experimenting with pushing new and experimental art in my eyes makes him an important & influential artist, that crosses boundaries.
